CLOWNFISH MISSING

I have a 20g cube tank which had 2 clowns they were fine and healthy last night and yesterday was my testing day and the tests came back ok. I woke up this morning and there was only 1 clown in the tank and i am confused and wondering if anybody has any ideas of where he could have gone.

My clowns in the past seemed to make it to the overflow in the past. Now that they’re 3+“, they’re too big for that now

I checked the overflow because that has happened before but this time they were not there sadly and there are orange specks on the sand. I have a tiger pistol shrimp and i am worried a that he may have ate the body.

Yes i checked all around the tank and all over the flour. I have a lid that i use at all times and they would not be able to fit threw it but they have jumped into the overflow before. Sadly they were not there.
