He looks like he has some white stuff on his mouth and swollen

Any chance you can post a picture? That would be very helpful.

Eyes on it, but I'm no help either. Interested to see what this might be...

Some of the common questions:
How long have you had the fish?
What quarantine procedures (if any) do you use?
Has anything in the tank changed recently (any new additions, feeding changes, etc.)?
Any parameters out of normal ranges (alk, salinity, ammonia especially)?

Interesting, looks like it may be an infection to me.

Any chance of removing and treating in quarantine? I worry it won’t make it if it’s a serious infection otherwise.

Interested to hear what others think as well.

Did he or she try to host a coral. I had a pair or clowns that try to hard to host my bubble coral and got stung bad in mouth and side of body. It took a few moths to fully recover, but mouth was badly swollen.

Oh boy. It's Hard to tell from the picture, is his mouth just locked open or is there like an actual white protrusion?

We have tried to get him out he just runs and hides

My best guess would be an infection..whether it be fungal or bacterial. Your best bet would be to catch him somehow and get him into quarantine and observation.

You’ll have to take out the coral and rock a lot of times if you don’t have a fish trap

If there is no coral, what do you guys think about using a blend of Metroplex and Kanaplex bound to the food with Focus?

Lower stress option than tearing the tank down. And it does seem to be eating.
