Clownfish mouth stuck open?

I've had this guy for a while. Clear of Velvet, Ich, and Brook as he has been though CP. he's also bee though a full round of Furan+Kana+Metro.

I haven't seen him really eat in a few days.

Ive had this happen to a couple of clowns over the years. With their jaws open, they want to eat but cant and will most likely starve. Its like their jaws get stuck, i had one where i caught it, gently tapped the lower jaw closed and it was okay after a couple days. The 2nd time it happened to another clown i tried to do the same thing, and it died within a day. So i wouldnt recommend my approach. When i researched other solutions, i didnt see any positive outcomes, sorry hope it works out.

Is he breathing heavy as well or just has his mouth stuck open like that?

I would get him out of meds (and into clean water) if he is done with those.

That was what I was thinking also.

This happened to mines once, my female and male aren't bonded yet and constantly lock lips and fight , the female got an infection and her mouth was exactly like this ,I treated it with metroplex and focus and it went away in a few days

As soon as I moved him, it got better. So maybe he was just keeping it open?

Idk. Gonna keep him isolated for a few days

Might have been the meds messing with him.
