About 2 weeks ago I got a awesome pair of black ocellaris clowns, but keep nipping eachother. They are constantly swimming together during daytime, but night time is when nipping starts to happen. One of the pair has his bottom fins cut up. Is this a normal thing or should i try to get a different clown?

Are they the same size? If so then they are setting the pecking order to see who will become the female and male.

Normal in that clownfish often nip to establish the dominance order. The weaker fish becomes the male.

Heres a picture of them

They are the exact same size and everything, but one has his middle line split, which comes in handy when telling them apart.

Yea, they are just trying to set the pecking order. Beautiful clownfish.
