Hello all,

My clownfish had a spot appear near its fail that looked symmetrical on both sides. Upon closer look, it looks like he was pierced by something (possibly a long spine urchin?).

He is swimming and eating as normal.

Please advise how to proceed

That looks fairly serious - almost a through-and-through wound. I would source some antibiotics (Furan-2, Kanaplex and MetroPlex are a good combination, and I've heard very good things about Nitrofuracin-Green, though I've not used it myself.) in case they're needed. A QT would also be needed . . .
