Clownfish question

Ok so I have a pair of snowflakes and I think maybe they are getting ready to lay eggs. Do they put a white looking slime stuff on the rock to attach the eggs to? Ill try to get a picture of what im seeing if I need to.

Nope.

In fact the spot that they want to lay the eggs upon would be clear of any algae and the like. They would spend some time cleaning that spot before laying the eggs.

Not the greatest video, but if you look at the male clown in the background you can see it cleaning a spot -- a day or 2 later they laid eggs in that spot.
