How long does it take on average, for clowns to reach full size? How long in does gender become determined?

that can depend on a variety of factors like feeding but typically a month or two, or at least mine took about that long..

My clowns typically reached max size after 3 years. As for gender it takes months for reproductive change, a clown may act like a female but it takes a couple months to reach reproductive maturity once the fish is already of spawning age.

Sexual maturity is usually around 1yr old or so and female dominance depends on other factors. Full size is also diet dependent with no real definitive answer.

is one showing signs of dominance and or bigger than the other?? and you'll probably know soon

Thats a sign of a female, they in many cases get bigger than the male... while its not definitive it could give you an idea as to who is who

That was my intention when I added the small one is for the bigger one to become the female and for less fighting. They have to be close to a year I've had them around 4 months together and they were like 1.25'
