Depends on the size of the tank and the size of the clowns. A large grouping of young clowns, sexually immature may develop into a harem with a dominate female and sub male, the rest the harem. If you try to introduce two females or two males in transition to female there will be aggression.
Depends on the species... if you have enough for a proper harem it can be done. Don't even try if you're thinking maroons... not a chance lol.
