i know its beat to death and always mixed reviews from noway to i have many to aslong as tank is this size, clowns only take about 4 feet around.. and so fourth .... i have 135 gallon 6 foot tank..

mated pair of occelaris clowns.. much full grown about 5 years old (i have only had them few months) and they have the spot in the right side of the tank with a hosting anemone(finally)

now my daughters tank blew a seal and had 2 tiny percs and anemone host i swapped to my tank on opposite side for now and have the percs in a acclimation box close to thier anemone almost a day now and seems the original clowns have no interest.. just my lyretail 's curious lol .. is this a good sign? maybe leave them longer? i have the next few days off so keeping an eye on them wont be so bad..

Although there are no guarantees, the tank size and the nem will help. They may just ignore each other.

4 hours released the 2 tiny percs into their anemone .. the larger female is around but isn't bothering them.. not chasing, nothing just probably showing who is boss..

will continue to monitor but I think the size of them *she* dosent consider them a threat.. also both are probably still male and not paired I hope.. ..

It's normal enough, I think, for a group of juvenile clowns to share an anemone near a breeding pair. (Not right next door, but within easy swim-range.) Should one of the pair be lost, the juvenile group would be the source of the new male.
