Good evening,

I recently added 2 ocellaris clownfish to my 40 gallon tank, they seem very happy as they swim together at all times, are eating well and seemingly swimming all over the tank exploring. They have however been almost biting the top of the water near one of my powerheads, it doesn't seem to be an oxygen problem but I just wanted to make sure this is normal behavior!

Thanks,

I e not heard of this so I will let others comment on this certiain oddness but I will say that clown fish do some really really strange things. I’m chalking this up to just one of those strange things.
My foxface does this but he also blows bubbles.

I do feed them pellets and some small bubbles come into the tank through my refugium spillway, maybe they are biting the bubbles thinking its food. They only do it in that one spot!

They dont seem to be breathing heavy at all, no rapid gill movement. Thank you!

Look healthy to everyone?
