Hey all,
I currently have 2 occelaris clowns in my 120G. They are a bonded pair. My question is, I really want to get a pair of snowflake clowns will it be ok to put another pair of clowns into the tank or will they start to brawl a bit?
Thanks

hmmmm. I mean... its a 120g. It might be ok? Wait for someone with more experience though. Im also curious. If you add 2 more will it be sort of like a clown harem tank?

Do you have another tank - just in case this doesn't work?
I unfortunately do not. I’m gonna do more research before I pull the trigger on it. Worse comes to worse I will definitely re home them I’m not looking to keep fish that aren’t happy just for my own pleasure.
What is your opinion do you think it will be ok?

Personally it can be done. I’m just afraid if they cross territories. Your tank is also very large so it’s just chance you might have to take.

I wish I could give you a definite answer, I see how aggressive they can get (from my mated pairs in 2 diff tanks) and I don't think I would risk it UNLESS you put some kind of divider in the tank. I can only go by folks that I know who have tried Clown Harems - they say unless they ALL come from the same brood, you're in for "battle royale".

I don't know, but I've always been taught NO. I'm thinking maybe a bunch of juveniles growing up together has a much better chance than bonded pairs? Interested in this answer...
