Clownfish spawn issues.

How are you all, I’m just new to the world of clownfish breeding so I had couple of questions.

first my clownfish started spawning like 6 weeks ago, this is by far the third time spawning,( however they all without success) so I discovered, when the female lay the eggs, somehow they’re not the typical peach orange color, but grey. So I don’t know if this is the reason why they’re eating their eggs each time, or simply it’s too early and they’re just still learning. I’ve read that they need life food like brine shrimp, etc. but have anyone had success with regular food?

Ok my experience is not with clowns but this were apply to many fish I have dealt with. Young parents often make mistakes and not caring for their eggs correctly in the beginning. Also stress from tank mates make them eat their eggs too. This is because they think of the eggs will be eaten anyway may as well I eat them. (Good for your heart )
Don’t read too much int it yet. They most likely will get there.

Mine have a large clutch laid every few weeks. Grey/white eggs is usually a nutrition issue, i feed LRS reef frenzy and PE mysis mostly, sometime BRS pellets.
The clowns get much better at laying larger clutches as well as they get a bit older, so i agree with above, just wait it out and feed nutritiously

Any updates?? Mine went from laying dark orange healthy batches to laying grayish/white orange eggs now that are no good. Did the feeding help? @Joseram95
