hello everywhon. I recently got a pair of snowflake clownfish from live aquaria And saw that the male sometimes will teach to the female and she will twitch back and by the anemone where they sleep the female will go on the bottom on the sand and shake her tail and spray sand everywhere. Also it might just be me but I think they are both getting fatter especially the female. What does this mean is this spawning behavior?

Yes that is spawning behavior, however they could be practicing and not lay any eggs for quite a while or they could lay eggs at any time. Clowns are weird like that! Keep feeding them, keep the water quality up, and keep watching - good luck!

Hi! I have a question how long will it take before my clownfish pair will lay eggs? They have been doing the behavior I was talking about like clearing away the sand and like pecking at the rocks for almost 3 months and the seem to be spending all of thier time in the bubbletip anemone and that is where they where clearing away the sand is that where they will lay the eggs?

Your fish are brand new. It will take years before spawning occurs.
