Clownfish sting?

I got 2 new black ocellaris Clownfish and a sebae anemone. I was guiding my clownfish into the anemone hoping they would try to host it, now my clownfish have a transparent boarder around thair fins. I think this is from them being stung. What should I do? How long will it take to heal? Why is my anemone stinging the clowns? Is this even the problem? Thanks in advance for the reponses. Also my water parameters are all good.

Translucent fin tips are normal for clowns. The nem sting will leave black dots which you might not see on black fish. Dont usher the clowns in let them do it on thier own...as they rub on the nem they will pick up its mucus which will enable them to be in the nem without getting stung....might take awhile.

+1 - Perfectly normal.

My clownfish have a transparent margin to their fins as well - as far as I'm aware, they all do.

Stings usually show up as little dark spots of "hypermelanization" - on your guys, you'd see it in their white stripes.

Agreed. Mine took over 5 months to finally go in my black widow nem. That was just the female too. The male still hasn’t hosted. It takes time
