I am considering adding a mated pair of clownfish from Sustainable Aquatics to my 32 Biocube. Current inhabitants are a McCosker's wrasse (I know but he's doing great and seems to love it here at least for now), a Wheeler's goby with pistol shrimp buddy and a pair of Scarlet/Fire Shrimp. I have frogspawn, hammer and bubble corals along with a pipe organ, candycane and a birdsnest all doing very well. The tank is 10 months old. Is adding this pair a bad idea, good idea or borderline insane or borderline brilliant? I would appreciate any and all advice.

you are fine to add a pair of clowns no problem as long as nitrates are running ok and you have sufficient live rock (25-45 pounds) or the equivalent with bio media so you dont have any ammonia issues

i find clownfish being the least likely fish to bring in illness, if you have a good lfs i say just get them from there. My lfs let me know when they were receiving mocha storms from seaandreef and i just bought them before they even were put into my LFS water.

Thanks for the response, dedragon. My "LFS" is 90 miles away but I'm sure they would order what ever I want and that may be the route that I go. I just like the idea of WYSIWYG when selecting a pair of bonded clownfish. I'll take a look at Seaandreef as well. Thank you.
