Clownfish stomach pushes inward

Hi everyone,

I have a clownfish for the past 4 months. The store had it for 2-3 months. It’s healthy as in never had an issue with eating, gets along well with other fishes, no white stringer poo. I have been feeding it once or twice a day but its stomach still looks pinched. Is this normal? Thanks

This fish is either getting wrong diet especially if eating or can be a tank raised specimen with hereditary symptom.
If eating well, add to45 diet: LRS fish frenzy, plankton and Formula one frozen

So I’ve been feeding it new life spectrum pellets and mysis/brine soaked in vitachem. I’ve used this with other clowns and they were always healthy. Do you think it’s hereditary? If so, is that bad? The clown generally is active in the tank.

Not bad. Many tank raised have deformities and look odd but live a normal life. Definitely step up the diet as it may be dietary

Are you sure you are feeding it enough food? You should feed it twice a day, as much as it will eat at a time. Just avoid too much uneaten food in the water, but try to get more food into it.
