I’ve had my clown fish for over a month now they are a breeding pair according to the previous owner the female is significantly larger than the male and they’ve been eating just fine they are the biggest fish in the tank and are left alone the water parameters are almost at zero and today I check and the female is swimming slower than usual and has stopped eating the male is fine tho

water parameters are almost at 0? that makes absolutely no sense.

What parameters do you test for?
How old is the tank?
Are there any other inhabitants beside the other clownfish?

would you mind posting your current parameters (that you test for currently) and provide pics and a 30 second video in white light please. This will massively improve your chances of someone being able to help you.

I tested ammonia and nitrates that’s what I meant

are you talking about nitrite or nitrate? have you tested alkalinity? salinity? pH? Nitrates or nitrites?

Definitely post a 30 second video of your clownfish under white light when you have a chance!

Nitrite ammonia and nitrates and salinity was at 1.02 and heat was at 27°c I don’t have a ph kit
please post a picture or video of fish. Plus is there any signs of scratching white spots or anything on the fish that you don’t normally see

These are the clowns

How old is the tank and what size is it?

Is the water oxygenated by skimmer or surface agitation?
