Hey guys. I just fed the fish 30mins ago and one clownfish didnt even look at the food, swim in its direction, even get excited, nothing and he's usually the most aggressive feeder. So I take a closer look and he's thin really thin. Idk what's wrong if he's sick or getting stressed to death by the other clown. I moved him along with his mate into the refugium about 45 days ago until we get moved. The reason they were placed in the fuge is cause after 6months of living together the one pair decided to kill my other pair.

I'm posting a video with. Here are the params. Alk-9.7,Calcium-430,Mag-1480,PH-8.3,Nitrate-13,Phosphate- .05

It could be some kind of parasitic infection. Do you have white lights? It may be a little easier to identify with better lighting.

Thanks sharkbait Idk what's wrong I haven't added anything new to the tank in a month not even coral and that's the fuge. Only thing I've done is hooked up a sulphur reactor about a week ago. Unhooked it last night we'll see today when the lights come on. Wow I posted this last night hoping when I woke up this morning someone would have diagnosed the fish and nothing what the heck

It's often difficult to diagnose this especially when there are so many possibilities. It could be internal, causing it to not eat. You could always dose with copper and prazipro in a QT tank if you suspect possible disease, just as a preemptive measure. What are your water parameters? That may also be inhibiting normal behavior, i.e. breathing, swimming, and eating.

To tell the truth, I have a pair of clowns and one gets bullied by the other and acts like this. It could be getting deprived of food. Any signs of aggression? Keep in mind you'll have to view from very far away as clowns always act different when their owner comes by the tank (they like to beg for food).

Solid advice. Thx again. He ate like a horse yesterday and today. I'm afraid it is bullying. He'll be fine he's grown alot faster than the bully I believe he'll outgrow her in a month for sure. Yea they do act differently when ur not around I've stood back and watched them alot. My other pair of clowns in the 90 alert the other fish when they see me come in the house all of a sudden everyone's a model citizen
