My clown fish is swimming sideways near the power head. I'm thinking it has swim bladder disease? How and what should I treat this with? I had placed some flake food in the tank last night (typically feed all frozen). Maybe the fish took in some air with the flakes? I have also read where the fish could have overeaten? This maybe possible since I did feed some flakes with the frozen. What's the best way to treat this? Currently there are no signs of any other infection and or spots.

I should also add pH is 8.0, nitrate is 10ppm, phospahte 0.

Swimming sideways or on his side? Any pics or better a video?

I don't at the moment, I am going off what my wife told me this morning. I will try to get a picture or a video later when I get home.

Maybe I am overfeeding? I feed my fish every day. I put usually a half cube of frozen in every day.

I'm not sure..could be a blockage. Could be swim bladder issues. Without a picture it is hard to tell. Is the stomach bulging out?

Ok I’m home now and the fish looks fine. The wife saw the fish when lights were out and said it was swimming sideways. I told her it must have been “clowning” around. All jokes aside I’m seriously glad the fish is ok. It’s one of my favorites!

I’m assuming they must do crazy stuff when lights go out.

Mine sleep at the top, kind of laying sideways.
