I just got some new clowns friday. At first they both swam and were hiding behind rocks. Then they started to come around and explore the tank. Now they love to swim verticle in the corner where they cornerflow box and glass meet. Is this normal for clownfish to swim vertical for extended periods of time. My water params are 0 amm 0 nitrite 10-20 nitrates. I know they can sleep this way but they even do this when they appear to be awake. The will change direction but stay vertical. Any advice? They are eating a mixture of Rods Food and frozen Mysis Shrimp mixed together with tank water until it is no longer frozen. They seem to eat when the food comes by. I also think my tanks flow is possibly to strong for them. Could this be the issue? I will get a better pic. This one is terrible!

Turns out my flow was to strong. Since turning off my wave makers the fish have been exploring the tank. If you get new fish especially baby clowns and they start doing this in a corner turn down the flow in your tank. As the get bigger and stronger you can increase it. Also its ok to turn the wave makers on occasionally to get them used to strong currents. However do not do this for long periods of time as it may stress them out and cause them to do this. No science just personal experience.
