Hello I recently purchased an ocellaris clownfish named Gilbert. I made the mistake of putting him in while the tank was cycling but I put things in like bio spira to help. It's been almost a week and a half and when he swims he seems to bump the top of his body against the surface of the water. I was wondering if this hallhap to anyone else or what this means, he has lost color which usually means he is stressed and shows no other signs of brooklanosis.please leave ur thoughtd

Patience is a virtue. All you can do is wait it out. Or bring him to a buddies where you know the water is stable.

If the tank is cycling he will definitely be stressed. My best advice if you are going to keep him in the tank is to do some good sized water changes every day or two to keep the ammonia level down for him. If you are testing ammonia keep it under 0.50 ppm (0.25 is better). Definitely do not add ammonia as some do while cycling.
