My clown is very healthy and active, eats and swims great. Some nights I have noticed him just swimming up and down the wall/glass then when the lights turn on he just swims normal. One night he slept on one of the rocks but now he is back to swimming along the walls.

It is an hour till the lights turn on and five minutes since I last checked on him and he has decided to stop swimming along the walls, but I bet he will go back tomorrow
. Anyone notice their clowns doing this?

I usually notice this behavior an hour or so after the lights go off.
He spends most of the night sleeping above an arch.

I have 2 tanks - each with a pair of clownfish. One pair are regular clowns (blood orange) and they have paired with torches and other soft corals. The other pair are bullethole clowns (similar to picasso clowns) and have basically paired with a wall of glass. They swim there day and night. I think all the captive breeding with these fish has impaired their natural instincts. Your fish is likely fine. Just confused.
