Hi i had these fish for 3 years and now i see one is really pale and one has a curved tail. Parameters seen fine, salinity is 1.027. I had them for 3 years at my parents house but moved my tank 4 months ago and started getting water at a different fish store and now seeing problems with my tank. My fire shrimp is also 3 years old and starting to lose color, hes more pale orange then bright red but i read their lifespan is 2-3 years so i thought it means he’s getting old. Is that normal? Anyone can help me identify whats wrong?

I’d tho it 1.028 salinity is a bit high.. clowns eye seems cloudy too, potential pathogen/infection?

I think that was just a smudge on my tank. Im slowly tryna get the salinity down. Its currently 1.027 now, trying to get it to 1.025 without shocking them

I see evidence of aggression likely from another clown and may be from injury from aggression. On water tests- I suggest taking a water sample to a store that does NOT use Api kits and have them test your ammonia and nitrates and compare readings- then you'll know where your levels truly are at. I dont however think water quality plays a role with this

I doubt it is your water, even the salinity wouldn't be too much of a factor (but 1.024 would be less stressful overall).

Can you post a video of the fish?

Sorry I can’t help with injuries or diseases but it’s definitely not old. A clownfish’s lifespan is more like 20-30 years in captivity with proper care.
Oh i was talking about my fireshrimp being old. Hes losing color too.

Ive have been noticing the bigger one picking on the little one before he got sick. Any idea why out of nowhere the larger one is getting aggressive? Theyve lived peacefully for 3 years.

Clown hierarchy- the larger being female often dominant and the aggressor and will steal all the food, corner the male and cause damage
Isolating her may help
