Hi all. I have a Bio Cube 32 (6 weeks old). My tank is fully cycled. I have 5 coral frags, 1 cleaner shrimp, 3 snails, 4 red legged crabs and two clown fish. Thursday evening we noticed that the smallest clownfish was missing it’s tail. Literally 2 hours earlier they both we swimming together and both fine. The lights go out at 10p. At 11:30p we noticed the injury. I went to my local shop yesterday and the only thing they said was that the smaller fish would probably die. He’s still here this morning but I feel like there‘s something I should do to help. Advice?

Treat with methylene blue in a bath. And then with almost any antibiotic like kanaplex, Furan2, Triplesulfa, or NFG powder (preferred) for 10-14 days. Along with food mixed with vitamins like Selcon, Zoecon or Beta Glucan (preferred).

Ok thanks. I’ll research where to get these items. I’m a newbie :)

Here's a list of the meds and equipment to keep on hand. Sometimes diseases won't wait for the UPS truck to arrive. ;)
