Clownfish tail...?

Today I noticed my maroon clown had something up with his tail.... the color is tinted a little bit green as well. I do have another maroon clown in the tank and they haven’t paired yet, so it could possibly just be battle scars, but they haven’t caught except for the first day I got them and they sometimes rub their bodies together. but I wanted to check with y’all.

My money is on the other Maroon. If it gets much worse you may have to intervene. Did you make sure to get a potential male and potential female?
If you ended up with 2 female it will not work, one will kill the other.

I agree, Maroons are really rough, more so than other clownfish. You're likely to experience more fin tears as they get accustomed to each other and dominance is established.

I agree with the others. The clowns are beating up on each other. I have a female lighting maroon clown that killed 2 males before finally excepting a third. She never really paired with him though... she just tolerates his existence in the tank as long as he sticks to his corner.

I’m not sure.
The one in picture was at Petco by itself for 5 months... yesterday I read that it’s probably a female... my second one (not pictured) is the more dominant by a landslide.... I will ask LFS if they’re willing to trade
