Good evening, I've noticed over the last few days my clown has taken an interest in letting my feather duster worm host him. Normally it wouldn't bother me however he has missed about 3 days worth of feedings. Anyone else know or can pontificate with me about what's going on?

He's an idiot? (don't feel bad, all mine have been idiots as well) Have you tried just injecting some food near him? When mine's preoccupied in his anemone I just shoot some food in and around him and that usually wakes him from his 'slumber' immediately.

So I've let it go on it's been about 10 days and the female he came with is doing the same now. They're pecking around the underside of my live rock and substrate barely eating and sticking to the same spot.

I’m surprised they feather dose not retract as soon as they touch it. Mine are hosted by my duncan coral but come out to eat. Not sure what is going on with yours not eating.

Looks like I've got ick the male just showed up with white patches on him and fins are looking a little rough.

Just did a 37% formalin dip for 30 min in a .5ml in 1 gal glass bowl and have them in quarantine. I've had this issue before and I thought I had let it go fallow long enough I waited 75 days. Am going to give this 90 days if they make it through the treatment.

When you went fallow last time, what medication did you go through in QT? Did you go through with copper?

Also 75 days fallow is overkill. something around 50 days is enough , especially if you bump up the heat in the main tank.

The 75 day number is from a lab setting in cold water.

90 days fallow is overkill x2.

If you went through the Ich treatment in QT properly, fallow 75 days should have worked with no issues.

Yes I had done the labeled cupro rate but it had no apparent effect. I purchased over my waiting period for reintroduction, 37% formalin treatment just in case I ran into it again. I heard saltwater ick doesn't speed up with temperature. These guys could have just came with it. What options at this point do I have to clear this tank of disease.

Doing another formalin treatment and this is happening.

After this treatment I'm going therapeutic with copper power. Should I plan on doing another formalin treatment?
