My clownfish was looking alright all day and after feeding this evening i got back to my tank a noticed this weird spot behind its fin..

In the picture it looks dark but in reality it kinda looks transparent/disscolored.

Im a bit worried and wondering if this could be organ damage/leak but i dont seem to find much indormation on this specific condition..

If anyone can help me diagnose this weird issue it would be much appreciated

Might also be worth noting its right behind its fin and the spot is about the same size as the fin itself

Looks like a bruise or injury
Is fish eating?
How is breathing rate- Normal or rapid?

Best treatment will be Maracyn 2 or seachem Kanaplex

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

This is an issue that I have not seen in my own fish, but have seen a number of cases of it here. So far, the cause is not known. In some cases, it is fatal, in other cases it goes away without treatment. It always shows up on the white portions of clownfish (probably because the coloration shows through the white better than other colors).

Here is a post I started about it:

Thank you everyone for the possible options will make sure to update here if it clears up or if the little thing doesn't make it.

For now im optimistic been breathing ok and eating well!

My designer clownfish experience this quite often and I notice it more at night when the lights are off. They do live in a carpet anemone so I always attributed it to that. They have been living for a long time will no side-effects. (it comes and goes) I would say you are in the clear but let us know otherwise!
