Hey guys,

something strange is happening with my Clown fish.

He is physically perfectly fine but what is happening is ... the fish is swimming upside down ( litteraly ) when it's at the top of the tank ..

So what I thought is that it was gonna die.. I waited 2 days... and the fish is totally fine just swimming UPSIDE DOWN...

What I tried is.. I put the fish in a breeding tank, INSIDE the actual tank... and maybe you guys won't believe it but .. the fish COMES BACK TO NORMAL

So basically when the clownfish is at the top of the tank... it instantly goes upside down. When I put him at the bottom of the tank.. it comes back to normal..

What is happening???? Anyone knows???

I heard maybe the fish '' ate '' a bubble of air, could that be possible?!

thanks in advance.

Do you overfeed, or feed generously? Too much food can cause swimbladder issues

I've seen older clownfish (10+ years) develop swim bladder issues which makes them swim erratically. How long have you had him?

If you click the link in my earlier post most of the articles point a swim bladder issue. Also what cause the issue and some way to fix the issue:) Being a new tank mate it might of has the issue before the fish was introduced.
