I recently completed a round of prazipro on clown, did a large water change, ran carbon, and moved along to Cupramine.

Two day into the Cupramine treatment, I noticed white, stringy feces from one of the clowns. Is it likely that this fish may still have an internal parasite based on this?

Yes. 2 rounds of Prazipro are needed 7 days apart with a water change in between.

^^This. If you are still seeing white stringy feces after the second round of Prazipro, this means you have likely encountered a prazi resistant strain of intestinal worms. The workaround is to treat with metronidazole because that medication is more effective at treating intestinal worms.

Thanks so much for the insights!

I have also read the stingy feces can simply be caused by lack of a "meaty" diet. I have only been feeding flake, so is it possible (or even likely) that this is the cause? Or is it far more likely the clown does in fact have internal parasites?

Brown stringy poop is a sign of improper diet or intestinal irritation.

White stringy poop means worms are present in the intestines.

My female who is roughly 3 years old, does in fact have stringy white poop every once and a while, though not very often with the male showing no sign's.
This usually happens after she lay's a larger than normal clutch which she has been doing on a 7 to 10 day rotation consistently for a year now.

Will post pic's, the next time she does this.

I know a lady who had a clownfish with intestinal worms for 9 years before she finally treated for it. Clowns are tough, and intestinal worms are probably the most manageable disease of all, so long as the fish keeps eating.

Thanks for the clarification!

The fish is eating fine and acting healthy, but might as well take care of it while it's in QT.
