I’ve had these clownfish for a year and when they were purchased they had like black spots on them, I believe they came from the same batch. I don’t think it’s ich and they were quarantined for two month with copper. During the quarantine the black spots were going away, but after two months I released them into my tank and the spots came back. They eat fine and are active, but I’m just curious as to what this is? I heard it could be due to stings from an anemone. Any ideas, please help? Not the best picture but the black spots are all throughout the body, they arent salt like spots like ich.

My naked clowns had the black spots all over the bodies.
They had decided to nest with one of my small hammers and were getting stung.
Eventually the hammer died because of the stress and the black spots disappeared.
Now they are nesting with my candy canes.

Strange cause these never nested that I know of. , I think they were in a bare tank from the fish store but the stings from corals or nems are all I could come up with. How long did it take to go away?
