Need a little help here.. I’ve got two clowns that I’ve had for about ~10 months. From the beginning, they’ve always had string white poops, not all days, but most. Sometimes it’s a white explosion that disappears, sometimes it’s a long white string, sometimes it’s a reddish colored explosion. I have treated them probably 5-6 different times using metroplex and general cure and it never seems to work. I soak the pellets in water with the meds and mix it all well into almost like a ball of dough that I refrigerate and just pinch tiny pieces off to feed. Nothing seems to change though. They generally eat LRS pellets, ocean nutrition pellet and flake, and occasionally mysis but not often as of late. They act 100% healthy and happy, eat like dogs too! Anyone else have this experience? Is there a different type of medication I should try? Possibly have a parasite resistant to metro and GC?

Pellets and flakes can be very high in protein and can cause the symptoms you see. Try feeding frozen for a bit and see if symptoms improve say like 2-3 days. If not you're probably going to have to try different medication. How long did you treat with the general cure?

Also general cure is a mixture of prazi and metro so treating with metro is kinda redundant if you have general cure
