How long does it take clownfish to bond ?, I've had these guys for about 5 months now ,the bigger one is about 3 inches and the smaller one is about 2 inches the female is the first picture and the male is the second.....

Unless you have a gigantic tank, these two are most likely already bonded. Otherwise the larger female would have probably killed the smaller male, if he would not submit to her. If they stay pretty close to each other, most of the time, they're bonded.

If you see the bigger Clownfish, "the female" picking on the smaller clownfish, "the male". That usually means that they are bonding. If you see him do a weird twitching movement when she lunges at him that's him submitting to her. (that's a good thing). It took mine a few months for them to bond. Like maybe 1-2 months. About 8months for them to start laying eggs.

Close to a year now, the only time they swim together is when I'm doing a water change and my hands are in the tank , the male does the dance but she always chase him back in the corner , the female sleeps alone in my torch corals
