I have a 65 gallon display, and I was wondering if I could put more than two clownfish in it?

Not typically recommended as you'll likely end up with two in the end. Not saying it won't work, but odds are against it in my opinion.

100% concur

I have a 65gll with 2 clowns , a tang, a banggai cardinal , 3 green chronis and a anthias and they all are doing great together been over a year and no problems

If you start with fifteen or so little clownfish, you might be able to pull off a clownfish "harem" tank - just clowns in a complex social dynamic and anemones for them to romp about in. Three, though ... that would probably not be a good number.

Other species, along with a pair of clowns? Absolutely.

I had 6 at one point no problems for about a year then i sold off the tank.
I got mine all at the same time though and they was all the same type.
