Hello,

Looking to get one for my upcoming 20g drop-off tank. If you are to purchase one now, what will you get? Pics will be nice :)

Thanks in advance!

Lightning maroon, I absolutley am dying to get a pair, but now is not the time I'm afraid.

How about something with that ‘designer’ look— they’re cool! Probably nothing else in your tank will be so gleaming white :)

Used to have one similar to your pic but not the pricey ones and boy it was mean! When I put corals or cleaning the tank, my hands got attack!

Black Storms. If these little guys werent $200 a piece at the LFS I would have a pair in my tank. By far my favorite.

Wow! Of course I did see a $600 clown pair at Reef-a-Palooza. But frankly, unless one is a Clownfish collector (connoisseur?), about $60-a-pop would do to get the same ‘designer effect,’ no?

I have a pair of gold spot maroons. Probably not good for a 20g. But they're the most active, moody fiesty fish I've ever had :p

I think it depends on how rare of a fish you want, something different then others have, I have never seen anyone with the black storms in their tank. One day I will eventually have a pair as I have desired them for quite some time. They are very unique.

Lucky! That you have that in your LFS.
They just redid an area in their shop and are getting various designer clowns in, at one point had 15 different designer clowns with multiple of each. They have had 4 of them black storms for about 2 months. I think the price tag is a little shocking for people.

I picked up a couple of naked misbars on monday for like 70 bucks. Both are naked on one side and one has a perfect circle on one side and the other has a line on one side. I call them dot and dash.

Buck shot clown. Or Blackhawk Picasso clown. 2 of my favorites. My avatar pic is a buck shot.

I like the pattern on the Blackhawk Picasso clown. Thanks for the name!

My LFS has Picasso and I like it but seeing the "Blackhawk" = two thumbs up!

Booyah's Clowns is the only place I know that sells the Blackhawk Picasso's. He breeds lots of varieties actually. Really good guy to deal with as well. I can't say if he ships though. He lives 5 minutes from me so I just go to his house. Facebook is the best way to get a hold of him as well.

I have a lightning maroon and a snowflake. The maroon is pretty aggressive, and doesn’t socialize with me much. The snowflake is another story. Him, my yellow tang, and valentini puffer are best buds. And all three have started taking food from my hand.
