Clownfish

I’ve noticed my clownfishes midsection has been looking a little more swollen then usual I’m wondering if it is getting ready to lay eggs is there another way to tell ?

Hi! Does she have a male and how old is she? Very possible, but could also just be fat or full from eating something

good questions above. Also, do you see nesting behavior? Something like cleaning a particular spot on the tank, hanging out there more often, etc.

I’m not sure the exact age there is another smaller male that’s been in the tank with her she does have a spot on one side of the tank right around a bubble tip anemone that she aggressively rugs on pretty much all day lol.

Sounds like nesting. Do the male and female hang out together? Sounds like she’s gravid though.
