Clownfish

2 little clownfish. When I put them to sleep at night.. the same guy goes directly to the sand.. snuggles up and passes out. The other one floats around.. and the first night they slept together all night. Figured it was because they were new an wanted to stick close. But the last 2 nights the wild one will come down at the other one sleeping an nudge at him or nip at him when I think he's gonna go snuggle. Lol. They're soo tiny.. so not sure what this could mean. Any ideas?

Sounds like it’s just clowns being clowns. Could be related to pairing behavior.

All clowns are born males in a group the one who dominates the others become a female. When she dies the next badest clown takes her place.

...I'm not a clown fan but I usually only get one clown to avoid these types of things. Lol. Its basically a big damselfish.

Its clowns being clowns. Mine sleep in the overflow and one always tries to wake up the other. Theyre called clowmfish for a reason they do weird things.
