should not have a problem but i would put im in a fish box so that he can get aquainted with your other clown how long has the female been in the tank alone?

Sorry just seen this but I bought the other clownfish 2 days ago and the female clown was a bit mean at first but they’re all good now I had just put him in and it took a couple hours for them to get along

Ive had issues with Clowns since start up, 1 year ago...but recently had 2 frostbite Clowns, both grew and did good, but the smaller 1 died. Looked to add another frostbite but all were too small at LFS...so bought a good sized Gladiator Clown...now both frostbite and Gladiator are getting along wonderful, and maybe gonna make babies...been together for 5 months, both are fat and healthy, and they are mating!!
