Does my lightning Maroon Clownfish have Ich? I know it hard to see in the picture. I just got these two from the fish store. And have them in a tank by themselves. Can’t say it’s necessarily a proper QT tank because of the rock.

1. When you say freshwater, are you taking dechlorinated tap or RODI?I see signs of Brooklynella which accelarated looks like Oodinum or velvet which you see. The most noticeable difference that sets Brooklynella apart from Oodinium is the heavy amount of slime that is produced by a fish that has contracted this parasite. As the disease progresses, a thick whitish mucus covers the body. This will usually start at the head and spread outward across the entire body. Skin lesions appear and it is not uncommon for signs of secondary bacterial infections to arise, such as redness and fin rot.
For temporary relief, give the clown a freshwater bath the same temp as your tank for about 5 minutes, then follow with daily formalin baths using general cure or ruby rally pro. General cure I find more effective

How many days should I treat with GC? I believe you were correct in diagnosis as the fish has shown more signs.I see signs of Brooklynella which accelarated looks like Oodinum or velvet which you see. At least 5-7How many days should I treat with GC? I believe you were correct in diagnosis as the fish has shown more signs.
Are you referring to dosing the tank 5-7 days in a row or should I be doing this in separate water and tossing each time?At least 5-7
The instructions on the box say 2 treatments spaced by 48 hours, but someone here recommended 5-7 days of treatment daily. Is it safe to add GC to the tank every day?Probably just need to be patient and continue with the treatment.
Do Daily formalin Baths ( bath is 30-45 mins) and return to QT tank. Fish will begin to clear up and once clear go 2 more days. The instructions on the box say 2 treatments spaced by 48 hours, but someone here recommended 5-7 days of treatment daily. Is it safe to add GC to the tank every day?
