He could just like the flow and the powerheads is right there so it could make him feel secure with the right space.

Clowns gonna clown

I had one who would purposely swim down the intank and chill there. I don’t know why or how but I would regularly find him there for a period of 3 months until he got eaten by a zebra moray.

Makes sense I suppose, the flow will help him use less energy keeping afloat whilst sleeping.

Have to say your tank looks spotlessly clean!

A few weeks ago I caught my clown doing the cutest thing ever. She was swimming to the top of the tank and picking a bubble of air, then swim to the bottom release the bubble and then swim fast up and catch it, then go down again and repeat, until the bubble disappeared or reached the top, and then she would pick a new one. I was first scared about oxygen depletion, but my other 10 fishes were just fine minding their own business even her partner. And then she was doing this for a couple of minutes, then stop for a few more and the doing it again. So I realized she was playing fetch with the bubbles she released. It was awesome. Next time she does I it ill try to get a video.

My clown Def plays random games with the shrimpm since I've gotten coral the shrimp liked to be in the softy forest which is under the flows territory. The clown will bring up a piece of my Carib sea black sand and drop it on the shrimp (or try too)

Ty! I try my best! Helps being home all day, I'm either blowing glass, playing diablo 3 on switch or hands in the tank. A wildly exciting life I know

That's Def what it feels like. When I got it the tank was just rocks and it aouk try and cling to this little cave in a dead spot of the flow. Since then it likes the power head spot the best like a cave. I've seen it do this multiple times and was at first scared then realized it was fine and just getting a grip to sleep

One of my clown will stick himself on the overflow as soon as the light is out and not move a fin. The first time I saw it I thought it is dead and got suck in the overflow, but he does it everynight.

The amount of times my clown has done something that makes me think it's dead/dying but is actually just dumb clown behavior is worth every cent I paid for this fish

Is giving your owner a heart attack a personality?
