About a week ago I purchased a pair of juvenile clownfish just the plain orange type however they have started to change colour and are getting a lot darker.
I had the same problem with my last pair which almost turned into mocha clowns which is not a look that I like.
I am wondering whether this is something wrong with my tank or is something that can just happen.
I will attach some pics

Most fish when purchased are in some level of copper depending on where you purchase them. This causes fading of the fish's color.

When you purchase the fish and get them in healthy environment. Thier natural colors will come back with good water quality and good nutrition.

What you are seeing is the fish's natural color after you have them for a while. So there is no magic sort of speak to your tank parms that it's turning fish different colors.

However you are doing good job of providing good stable parms and nutrition to the fish so you can see its natural colors. So good job and enjoy your fish.
