Clowns fish bully?

I got a fluval 13.5 evo and I’ve only been able to keep two clowns together. I added a rainford goby months ago. He disappeared after a week or so. I added a black Molly yesterday. Within 2 hours he also disappeared. He seemed fine the clowns didn’t bother him much. I still got the hood on the tank and I haven’t seen any remains. I also added an urchin. Which inverts seem to be fine to add.

Gobies are known to hide and new additions will too look for them early in the morning they may come out. I don’t recommend adding anything else in that size of a tank.

Rainford is probably gone, I got him for my GHA which he fixed. Now it’s back again. So I’m guessing he’s gone. I’ve looked inside all the places I know and don’t see the Molly. But he’s a small fish so maybe he can fit into some odd places.

Possibly but they also tend to decompose rather quickly if they do die and/or get eaten.

Just added two more Molly today to see if they do better in pairs and within a hour I lost another. Idk if he’s hiding in my rock work or what. The other is swimming around. I can’t see the backside of my rock since my tank is pushed up to the wall. Guess I’m done adding fish.

Probably a good idea or you could get a divider/isolation box if you really want to add more fish.
