I got a pair of clowns from Diver's Den on Tues. They were very active and swimming around the tank after acclimation. On Wed morning they'd retreated to a back corner where they've stayed since. My concern is one of them will only take a couple of bites of food while the other won't eat at all. I've fed brine, mysis, floating pellets (which neither have touched) and Rods. Should I be concerned about them at this point? I also got a bicolor blenny and dottyback both of which immediately moved in ad found their favorite spots. Both are eating great and exploring the tank. I watched all day yesterday and the dottyback never bothered / harassed them at all.

Try to entice them with food soaked in selcon

It's common for new clowns to be reclusive and stay in certain areas of the tank while acclimating. New clowns can go days without actually seeing them eat, cycloops always worked for me. All and all it sounds like typical new clown behavior.

Thanks, makes me feel better. I haven't freaked out yet because they both still look good and are actively swimming in their little corner.

Whew what a relief...just got home from the gym and they were out swimming around. I threw in some of the pellets and after they watched the dottyback rush to the surface and eat they joined him!!!
