So I sent my mom out about 1 year ago to get me a skunk clown fish.
Suprise, surprise she also brought home an anemone because "It has to have one."
Tank was barely even cycled and I was worried about adding it to the tank. I let her know my thoughts lol.
At this point I had to join her in this madness and sent her to get a second smaller clown. She was actually able to find a smaller one at a different petco.
So Pepé and Penélope were here to stay. Anemone went in the tank by itself and the clowns went into QT with copper.
I was super excited to finish QT and see the clowns in the anemone. Had never had an anemone before. The clowns took months to finally move in. Very frustrating watching them just swim by it for weeks lol.
Finally
Anemone stayed put for the most part in the DT. It is placed under a AI prime 16. The only time it really moved around was when I added a XR15 to the other side of the tank. It walked over, crawled to the top of the rocks on that side and then went back to its spot after about a week. Once it started moving there is no stopping.
So now I had my 120 up and going for awhile and wanted to transfer everything over from the 35 to the new system.
After seeing the anemone move and do what ever it wants, I really didnt want to add it to the new tank. I went back and forth on the idea for weeks. I came home early one day from work and just decided to make the transfer. This is today.
I will say it was so gratifying to see these guys move to the big tank and have all the room. Been 2 weeks now and all seems well. Only under 4 t5s (2 actinic, 1 coral plus, 1 blue plus) for now. Will be adding 2 XR30's and probably swap the blue plus for a coral plus.
