My clowns have been in qt for awhile going fallow. They looked really good but lately both of them now have very noticeable dark discoloration either coming from inside or outside on the coat. Can anyone tell me what it is and what to medicate?

How odd. Are you treating with anything currently or recently?

When they got it, nothing but therapeutic level of copper. But I'm thinking of doing the works of kanaplex metroplex and furan 2 again since I don't know what is

hmmm. I seem to remember seeing this some time ago, but I cant remember what happened with it or how it was treated. I wonder if @Humblefish remembers that.... I could be imagining it of course.. that happens after a long day ;)

What disease are you going fallow for?

Can not fish bruise? Cause that looks rather round like maybe a clay pot fell and caught him. He got out before you saw.

Originally for brook and ich. But throughout the fallow process, I've seen tail rot and maybe hole in the head on other fish.

Copper does not treat brook; only suppresses symptoms. Did you do a FW dip + chemical (formalin, acriflavine) bath before placing all the fish in QT? That will usually dislodge brook on a fish.

I did quick cure at recommended dose and then did copper

You should be covered for all external parasites then.

The tail rot could be a secondary bacterial infection, and Hole in the Head is caused by an internal parasite. White, stringy feces is another symptom of Hole in the Head. Have you seen this?

I have a clownfish doing the same right now. What treatment worked if any?
