Noticed the pair going in and out of a specific rock today. Got down and looked inside and they have laid eggs. First time that I know of for these two. Guess that means I am doing a little something right.

Naw... Wouldn't know where to start. Would have no problem donating them to someone that would like to try though.

I just noticed the same thing with mine. I can see their little eyes. I guess they will be food for someone shorty as I don't know what to do with them.

Did you notice any different behavior prior to the eggs? My true perc pair has been happy for about a year. Over the past week, the female has really started harassing the male and they've been doing a lot of the clown shake. The female pretty much forces the male back into their host nem whenever he's more than 12 inches away from it. I'm wondering/hoping it's precursor to laying eggs.

NIce Paul. this is a good sign. mine lay like clockwork. but they are potheads (lay in a clay pot). I hope to raise them one day. maybe this summer.
