I have a 29g with a rose bubble tip and two clownfish. The anemone was pretty small when I got it, stayed bubbled and pretty for a little over a month. The clowns eventually realized they could start hosting it/rubbing up against it constantly and I think they really ticked it off. It hasn't bubbles in a couple of weeks. It's still attached to a rock and its mouth is closed. It's just not bubbly and stretched out looking like it was before. Any advice? I'm trying to look into covers I could put over it, but I'm unsure of where to find something like that.

Not sure about the rose bubble tip but in general the anemone should be 3 or 4 times bigger than the clowns or they can aggravate it... BTW welcome to R2R:D

Well, this is it before and after. I'm pretty sure it was too small for the clown

Yeah its too small. If you could get a basket to keep it in and keep the top of the basket out of the water so the clown cant get to it that would be best. He may end up killing it.

Thank you so much! I'll try that out. He's currently at the top of the rock structure, I'm pretty sure the clowns can't see him right now. He's already looking better

No problem.Once you get him in the basket. Feed him every other day and in a few months he will be big enough to host.

Ha! That's awesome. I'm going to buy a soap holder from Target probably. Thanks a lot, guys! The only thing I'm worried about is if removing him from the rock will be more stressful/take away from the healing process

My maroon paired killed my green bta,so now I'm just waiting go get a larger rbta

Just make sure the anemone is doing well and to keep an eye on it. Mine was so stress out it died, also make sure to pull it out before it releases it toxins into your tank
