club frag tank update?

Any news on the club frag tank or growth? The club sunk significant $ into equipment and frags at our frag swap with the intention to grow out and distribute coral frags to members. It's been over six months. Plans for distribution to members?

Apologies if this was discussed at the last meeting which I missed. No meeting minutes were posted here or on our website. The last update there was Sept. '11.

I unfortunately put some frags that I got from the swap in the tank. I got bubble algae and aiptasia as a reward. I have killed the aiptasia several times (HA!) and the bubble algae is not under control yet. The experiment is not going well with me as the administrator. I apologize.

Can you be more specific, or better yet, give an update us at the next meeting?

Is it a total loss? If not, can things be improved so that club $ wasn't spent for naught? Perhaps distributing the frags to multiple members/tanks (with the promise of give-it-forward for future frags to other members) is less risky and less work on one person. Just an idea.
