I was reading up on sea hares and one articles stated that some reef clubs have sea hare that they lend out to help with GHA.

I just finished up battling GHA, and I have a nice one. He is like a little goat. I just place him in a new patch and he starts chomping away. He is also eating nori.

If anyone close by has a GHA problem and would like to borrow him, I'm happy to send him over for a bit. Just thought I would offer.

I might be interested him. I have a rock that I can't get rid of the GHA on. I would only need him for a short time I bet as its not that bad.

Let me know. I have a bit of a pH spike now I want to get down over the next day or so, but should be ready to go soon. I live in the Nipper's Corner area.

Just a bump. I have lent the sea hare out and about to get it back this week. Just seeing if anyone needs it for a few days.
I'll probably take it back to AC in a few days if no one wants to use him as my tank is still pretty clean.

Hi,
If you haven't sent him on his way yet I'd love to borrow him.
I am so sorry. He picked my tank clean and then stopped eating nori. I was afraid that he would die in my tank where I couldn't get to him, so I took him back to AC. Welcome to the forums!

What kind of algae problems are you having?

No worries, I was late to the party. Thanks.

What kind of algae problems are you having?[/QUOTE]

Forgot to answer the question, I picked up a nasty green algae that I'm not familiar with when I grabbed some coral and live rock from someone breaking down a tank. It look like green hair algae but is a little denser than what I've know as green hair algae and it really grabs/roots onto/into the live rock. If I manually remove it, it feels like pulling velcro as I pull it off and it often breaks off near the rock making it very difficult to remove manually. When it is super short from being plucked at it almost looks like fake grass turf. I did a 4 day black out while on vacation recently which got rid of a lot of it but in the areas where it wasn't fully wiped out it is coming back with a vengeance.
