Puerple People eater. Many reefer say this is the one that started the high end polyp trend. At one time selling for as much as $250pp. Please share you pics, placement and experiences with this beautiful paly.

An oldie but a goodie! I unfortunately never had the pleasure of owning this paly. I do have the PPRPE's which is the fancy version of this morph (gets a blue ring!).

This morph has been valued down a lot, but oddly enough it's not that easy to locate.

I got my first PPE's from a very nice reefer in Florida around 2006.
They were pretty hard to find back then and about the only place you saw them being sold was on ebay for $200+ per polyp.
I can't remember the exact details, but Blane Perun had a charity auction on ebay ( 2004?) and a small frag went for something like $400+.

I bought my first frag for around $200 for 3 polyps shipped. That was a insane amount of money back then.
I've had them pretty much all the time since then. But since switching over to all leds, they just don't survive in my tanks.

Here is a older picture of one of my colonies.

Very true.... I've been looking for a while, yet no where to be found :(
