Clueless about current levels

I agree with a previous poster that nitrates at 50ppm and phosphates at 2ppm will help contribute to algae growth. PH is best kept at 8.3 or 8.4 ppm but shouldn't be a major problem for most species as long as the pH remains stable. The salt very well could be contriburing to phosphates.
